Case Studies of Reversing Degeneration – Part 3

By jimdun9241

In my current series of posts, I am writing about case studies of people who reversed degenerative disease with nutritional supplements, not drugs.  This case study is about someone with cardiomyopathy, which is extreme weakness of the heart muscle.  It is a severe case of congestive heart failure.

This person was a top runner in high school and college.  After college, he continued to stay in top physical condition with biking and running.  However, after having what he thought was severe flu, he never seemed to recover.  He was constantly worn out.  Finally, his doctor admitted him to the hospital.  After a series of tests, it was determined that he had cardiomyopathy as a result of a viral infection of his heart.  It caused severe damage to his heart.  His heart was enlarged, and a test of the strength of his heartbeat showed that it was less than 20%.  Normal result of that test is more than 50%.  He was a candidate for a heart transplant.  After taking several drugs, he was able to leave the hospital, but he was extremely weak.

At this point, he started taking a strong antioxidant and some minerals.  He also started taking CoQ10.  After a few months of taking the supplements, he was able to ride his bike several miles a day.  The test of the strength of his heartbeat showed more than 50%, which is normal.
